Great COnjunction of 2020

The images below were captured from still frames acquired with my DLSR camera and the 0.8m Schulman Telescope at the Mount Lemmon SkyCenter. The view... visually through the telescope- was unbelievable. I have been showing these planets to the public for my entire life- but together in the same field, just crazy! It reminded me movies where overlapping planets in the sky is a common occurrence. Although this image was taken on the 20th (not quite the closest separation), the visibility of the Great Red Spot of Jupiter was a bonus.
