Wouldn't it be nice if we could step over to our galactic neighbor and ask for a cup of sugar? What wonderful vistas and strange new places would we see? From our relatively close vantage point, in galactic terms, of two million light years distant- our imagination stirs at the profuse display of color and light. Because it is close, I wanted to demonstrate how large on the sky it actually is. This composite image shows the moon taken with exactly the same equipment.
